DYNASTS of LYCIA. Mithrapata. Circa 380-375 BC. AR Stater - 23mm (9.64 g). Facing lion's scalp / Lycian triskeles, head of Herakles wearing lion skin and facing slightly left, club to right; all within incuse square. The 3/4 facing Herakles is very unusual for Lycian coinage. There are a few issues with Herakles fighting the Namean lion, but this sort of rendering is wonderfully rare.
