Draped Bust Aelius Denarius
AELIUS, Caesar. 136-138 AD. AR Denarius (3.19 g). Struck 137 AD. Bare-headed bust right, slight drapery on left shoulder / Concordia seated left, holding patera, left elbow resting on cornucopia. RIC II 436 var. (Hadrian); BMCRE 981 var. (Hadrian); RSC 1a. Near EF, attractive bust, rare with the slight drapery on the left shoulder.
