IMP C CARAVSIVS P AVG. Radiate draped (& cuirassed) bust right RIC Leg 2, bust C. Rev:- Providentia stg left holding globe & cornucopia. PROVID AVGGG SP in field with C in exergue Mint Camulodunum ? (Colchester) RIC Vol V Pt 2 No 368 Variety. In the Reverse to left of the P, in the right field, is the vestigal remains of the letter C - could this be a re-cut die. This type not known for SC with C in exergue. But is known for the issues marked S SC or SP only. See RIC No 511. Bought CNG Electronic Auction Lot 62089 - March 2001
