Silvered AE Antoninianus of Cyzicus. Struck A.D.274 - 275. Obverse: IMP AVRELIANVS AVG. Radiate and cuirassed bust of Aurelian facing right. Reverse: RESTITVTOR ORBIS. Victory holding palm, standing facing right, presenting wreath to Aurelian, standing facing left, his right hand reaching out to take the wreath from Victory, his left holding a spear. In lower field, Epsilon; in exergue, XXI. RIC V i : 369. (Post Reform Issue) Weight 3.1gms. Struck after the defeat of Tetricus I this coin commemorates the conquest of the breakaway Gallic territories which completed the reunification of the Roman Empire.
