Not older than Tang Dynasty (618 - 907) Ruled by Empress Wu a very harsh and brutal woman that murdered her Son (and many others) for her own political gain. The An Lushan Rebellion marked the end of the Tang Dynasty.

Southern Song (1127 - 1279) Approx. fifty years after the Tang Dynasty there was a reunification of China implemented by the Imperial Army which began the start of the Song Dynasty. The end of the Song Dynasty was one of invasion.

Yuan (Mongol) (1279 - 1368) Barbarians conquered the Northern Song and the Southern Song was Occupied by Mongrols, Khubilai Khan was one of the better Known inhabitants.

Not older than Tang, but could it actually be Tang? Your attribution says 1200-1300 which is Song or Yuan.

Did you buy this from a dealer or auction? Christies or Sotheby's auctioned off a collection of these 4 or 5 years ago. They were beautiful. A few pulled in high prices.

Since your avatar is also a polychrome horse, I assume you collect them
