Strack 429: similar asses in Paris, Vienna, Munich, Rome.

 

According to Strack, this type occurs only with COS VI, not COS V. Cohen 373 and 374 merely misreads the Paris specimens of the sestertius and the As: he says COS V, correct is COS VI, though the number is sometimes illegible.

 

In any case, a rare type in all of the bronze denominatons, sestertius, dupondius, and As.
