Very sweet.

Let's see, 3 gms of silver. At $14 an ounce today, that is about $1.50.

How about I offer you $5.00 for it. Quick profit...........

That winning bid was in Turkish Lira, correct?

BTW I want the auction catalog that comes out when you and Mike finally sell your coins. Although I still think you should both combine to release a book of photos, since I don't think either of you are selling anytime soon.

PS You actually trumped Mikes version of this coin. I didn't think that was possible. I suggest pistols at dawn...twenty paces. Someone has to stand up for their honor.

ANd bring both of your collections...........I will watch over them in case you both have good aim.

Great idea! I can see a nice coffee table book with a Greek coin superimposed on a Hubbell telescope picture of Mars.

Thanks for mentioning Mike's Kromna. I hadn't realized he had one until your comment. His weighs 1/2 gram more and has very nice iridescent toning. Mine's better centered.

Can we trust you?

Of course you can trust me.

Probably the only way I will ever get my hands on that Nero.

I have looked like this ever since I found out he sold it............and you got it.

You yield??

No, No, No. You are not playing along.

Pistols at dawn, I hold both collections.

You academics can be frustratingly rooted in reality.

C'mon Clay, help me out here.....you know, misty morning, blue ticks howling on the leash, sweet smell of BBQ and some fresh lemonade. And me holding the collections.
