Probus - Ticinum - RIC 325 Bust Type H var.

Obv:– IMP C M AVR PROBVS AVG, Radiate bust left in imperial mantle, holding sceptre surmounted by eagle. Rev:– CONCORD MILI, Emperor and Concordia clasping hands Minted in Ticinum (* / PXXT) Emission 3, Officina 1. A.D. 277 Reference:– RIC 325 Bust Type H var (Unlisted with * in centre field, issues with the star are scarce) Apparently completely unpublished. Dr. S. Estiot didn't find any examples when compiling he Pflaum's colloquium article on this issue. This coin is die linked via the obverse and reverse dies to other coins from this series but is apparently the first of this reverse type known with this bust type for this issue.
