Obv:–IMP C PROBVS • P • F • AVG, Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right Rev:– TEMPOR FELICIT, Fides standing left, holding two ensigns Minted in Lugdunum (//B) Emission 9. Officina 2. January – August A.D. 282 Reference:– Cohen 727. Bastien 439 (2 examples cited). RIC 129 Bust type F var (not listed with officina mark in exe in RIC) This is a most unusual coin in this series. In this final emission the officina mark appears in the left or right fields apart from on this coin type where a single reverse die with the officina mark in exe was produced.
