15th century Pouring Spout

A cast copper-alloy pouring spout with a zoomorphic terminal in the form of a dog’s head with a short tube in its mouth. Length 75mm Some spouts of this type were used on priests’ lavers (washing bowls), but illustrations of late medieval flagons show very similar spouts and it seems likely that they were used on various types of vessel.
