14th / 15th century enamelled Heraldic pendants with hangers. Found 19th July 2007 Enamelled heraldic pendants are first known to have been used during the reign of Edward 1st and continued in fashion throughout the 14th century.They are usually shield-shaped but can be quatrefoil,lozenge,square, or rectangular in shape. Many can be researched by the familes coat of arms depicted on them.
