R: Nude jockey riding r. carrying palm branch. Prize ribbon attached to
horse’s ear; thunderbolt below, monogram in ex; PHILIP POY.
G: EF “Magnificent style both in the regal head of Zeus in high relief and in the superbly modeled musculature of the horse, depicting even the veins on the underbelly. Lovely iridescent old cabinet toning.”
