So this coin is a previously unrecorded Gb / Gf Mule Penny from London. As such it is excessively rare. The recent synthesis of the coinage by Lord Stewartby in English Coins 1180 to 1551 (Pub Spink 2009) continues to describe the arrangement of the Series G Pence and muling as set out by Lawrence in 1932.Stewartby Pages 264 / 265.
