Richard II Type 1 Penny - Mint London (Very Rare). Obv: Crowned bust facing +RICA(RDVS)xxREXxxAnG(LI)E Rev: Long Cross quartered by trefoil of pellets. xCIVI/(TA)S/LON/D(ON). Roman N's reversely barred. Double Saltire Stops on Obverse; with Saltire before CIVI on reverse. Segment of coin at 10 o'Clock missing. Poor condition on the whole but clearly identifiable. Richard II pence from London & Durham are very rare. North 1325 & SCBC 1686. Bought Ebay March 2012. Wt 0.64 gms
