AE2 of Antioch. Struck c.A.D.379 - 383. Obverse: D N THEODOSIVS P F AVG. Helmeted, pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Theodosius facing right, holding spear in his right hand and shield in his left. Reverse: GLORIA ROMANORIVM. Theodosius, his head turned right and right hand raised, standing facing left on galley sailing left with Victory at the helm. In left field, wreath; at top right, cross; in exergue, eagle on globe ANT gamma. RIC IX : 40d.
