BeastCoins

Constantine II, AE3, between 324-328?, Arles CONSTANTINVS IVN NOB C Laureate, draped, cuirassed bust right VIRTV_S AVGG Campgate with five rows, four turrets, no doors, no star above, top and bottom rows empty blocks ARL in exergue 19mm x 20mm, 1.84g RIC VII, -- Ex Lucie Courcy, eBay, November 2006 Note: Although of quite official looking style, the exergual mark is unknown for regular Arles issues, the reverse is usually for Constantine I and there is always a star on campgates of Constantine and his family once the campgate reverse was officially rolled out to the rest of the empire in 324 (Heraclea minted campgates from 313 and on and Rome was experimenting with different types before the rollout). Also note, there is no officina mark on this coin. Much more research is needed.
