RIC VII, --
Ex Keith Metzer Collection, April 2006
Note: This example is problematic. First, the obverse is for Constantine II and the reverse is normally only for Constantine I for Trier at this time. Also, RIC does not attest an official series with a pellet alone in the exergue. Footnotes on p.205 for RIC VII, 459 notes specimens referencing the Cologne Hoard (Max von Bahrfeldt, Münzen Constantinus d. Gr. und seiner Zeit aus dem Münzfunde von Köln a. Rh. 1895, Halle, 1923) for a different reverse type with . STR exergue and calls the exergual mark "spurious".
