Roman Republic - Quartuncia 217-215 BC. Obverse- Bust of Roma right wearing a crested attic helmet. Reverse- Prow of galley right, “ROMA” above. Sear #624, Syd 110, CR 38/8 3.75 gr. The Quartuncia was the smallest bronze denomination ever struck. With the reforms of 215 BC., this issue of this experimental denomination was ended.
